FAQ

Answers to the honest questions.

Do my employees need a crypto wallet?
No. Recipients can receive USDC/USDT directly, or have Aire convert to VND, IDR, PHP, THB, SGD, or MYR and deposit to their local bank or e-wallet (GCash, OVO, GrabPay) — same cycle, no extra step.
Which stablecoins do you support?
USDT is the default across most of SEA; USDC for Singapore and institutional accounts. Both run on Base, Polygon, and Solana. EURC and PYUSD roll out next quarter.
How does Aire stay compliant across ASEAN?
We operate with MAS-aligned partners in Singapore, BSP-registered partners in the Philippines, and BI-registered partners in Indonesia. Local tax forms — BIR 2307 (PH), PIT filings (VN), IR8A (SG) — are generated and filed automatically.
What happens if a stablecoin depegs?
Aire routes payroll through multiple stablecoin issuers and holds operational reserves. If a material depeg is detected, runs are paused and rerouted to the healthier rail before execution.
How is this cheaper than a SGD/USD wire?
A typical SWIFT wire from Singapore to Jakarta or Manila costs 3–5% in FX markup plus $25–40 in bank fees and takes 3–7 business days. Aire charges a flat platform fee with onchain fees around $0.02 — a 30–50× improvement on most SEA corridors.
